This year marked the 10th anniversary of the Isle of Man food and drink festival. The 2 day event over the weekend showed off some of the fantastic local food and drink our Island has to offer.

The guys at the Fish market and Paddy’s were down throughout the weekend serving up delicious seafood dishes and showcasing the fantastic range offered at Robinson’s.  From crab baps to fresh lobster the tasty treats were a massive hit with the crowds, and showed off some of the fantastic seafood the Island has to offer.

Sunday’s events showcased the talent of our Islands chefs through student chef of the year and chef of the year which we were proud to sponsor. In the midst of fierce competition Louise Thomas became the Islands 2018 student chef of the year. Whilst Darren Woods of 14North took home Chef of the year earning himself a trip to London to work with some of the country’s best chefs.

Overall it was a brilliant weekend showcasing some of the best the Island’s food and drink scene has to offer. Big thanks to Isle of Man food and drink for organising the festival and making it such a success.
